Family

In 2000, Tartakovsky married Dawn David.^[1] As of 2017, he had three children.<ref name="

I deleted "one son" from first sentence. It was 15 years ago. Now, which children were 2017 and from whom? Names? It is bad idea to collect bits and pieces of obscure private information from disparate sources. --Altenmann >talk 07:50, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Altenmann. I look forward to bringing a consensus on this matter with your cooperation. How do you consider the book to which I linked "disparate"? The most pertinent details about Tartakovsky pulled from the book are summarized in my edit, and yours is just a rephrasing. Why do you mention the son being born 15 years ago? I used the word "disparate" because the info about his family comes from small pieces in multiple non-related sources. Your book is considerably outdated. We can safely assume that he is still married, but we cannot assume that he has only one son, that's why I mentioned 15 years: lots of things can happen during this time. I am asking about names because it is possible that this info is known, so it can be cross-checked. I mention private information because we have policy WP:Biographies of living persons: personal information must be precise and verifiable. Please notice that I added: As of 2017.
