In the first few sentences it states that it is the largest fast food chain.

This is no longer true as now with Subway having more locations. I will be editing it. Also I don't know if I should post about me editing it.

Iran

There was NEVER McDonalds in Iran. Someone keeps adding this to the article but it's not cited by any reliable sources and there's not a single photo or document to back up this myth. Any references to it seem to be based on the uncited Wikipedia entry which repeatedly gets added then removed.

Furthermore, I know many people from Iran and none of them have ever been aware of any McDonalds in Iran. There is an anecdotal claim of an attempt to open one in 1994 which was then burned down, but no concrete proof that it was even official or anything. One of the maps on the article shows Iran as one of the counties that once had a McDonald's operating. It has it labeled as opening between 1970 and 1974. If McDonald's did indeed operate in Iran, I assume it left during the Iranian revolution in 1979. Iraq

I was unable to confirm McDonald's presence in United States' military bases in Iraq during the war, nor can I confirm its presence currently in the Green Zone or anywhere else. Closest thing I could find was a news article about MaDonal, and it referred to it as "McDonald's" in the headline. [1] If anyone has information regarding the subject please mention it here, otherwise I believe all mentions of Iraq should be removed from the article.
